Overview

Mode of Action: Cartap is a broad-spectrum insecticide that is both effective and safe. It is absorbed by plant roots and translocated to all parts of the plant, providing protection against insect pests present both above and below the soil surface. Directions for Use (Rice Crop): • Two applications are necessary. • First application: 9 kg per acre, 25–30 days after transplanting. • Second application: 10 kg per acre, 50–55 days after transplanting. Note: The second application is more critical, as infestation of caterpillars is usually higher during this stage.
