Overview

Bifenthrin belongs to the Pyrethroid group. It is a powerful insecticide highly effective against sucking pests of cotton such as whitefly, jassid, and aphid, as well as bollworms and mites. Bifenthrin is economical, provides long-lasting protection, keeps the crop green, and does not cause dryness. Its effectiveness is not reduced by harsh weather. Due to its repellent action, moths avoid entering the treated fields. Bifenthrin can also be used as a preventive measure against American bollworm. Method of Application: Bifenthrin can be applied with a hand-operated or power sprayer. Mix the recommended quantity of insecticide in the required amount of water to prepare the solution. Spray the prepared solution thoroughly so that all parts of the plants are well covered. Best Time to Spray: Spray in early morning or late afternoon when weather is calm. Avoid rain; if it rains within 6 hours, repeat spray, and if pest attack continues, repeat after 10–15 days. Crop Harmful Insects
